C&D Paper and Ilim Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement

On September 7, the BRICS Forum On Partnership On New Industrial Revolution 2022 was held in Xiamen. At the forum, Xiamen C&D Paper Co., Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of C&D Inc. (600153.SH), and Ilim Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the "BRICS Innovation Base Project Signing Ceremony" . 

According to the agreement, C&D Paper will import and purchase pulp and paper products worth US$150 million from Ilim Group in the next year, providing an important guarantee for the subsequent business growth of both parties.  This signing will help C&D Paper to expand the Russian pulp and paper market, strengthen exchanges and cooperation on new products, new technologies and new services, and achieve complementary advantages, Win-win development.

Ilim Group is one of the important strategic partners of C&D Paper. The cooperation between the two parties has been more than 15 years. With the continuous deepening of the BRICS partnership, C&D Paper and Ilim Group have conducted in-depth discussions for many times to combine pulp and paper. , kraft paper products and other sales and services extended to the central and southwestern markets of China.
